Reprogenetics has a long and distinguished history of basic scientific research as well as clinical investigation. In keeping with this tradition, Reprogenetics has created a new post-doctoral research position. The primary role of the new member of the scientific team will be to carry out translational research aimed at increasing the success rates of fertility treatments, improving the diagnosis of infertility and enhancing the detection of inherited disorders. Much of the research will involve the development of novel methods for the genetic analysis of single cells, gametes and embryos. Some of the research is expected to provide information of relevance to basic biology, while other aspects of the investigations will have clinical significance. The post would be appropriate for a post-doctoral level scientist with experience of a variety of molecular genetic techniques.
The position will provide opportunities for training in new techniques. Publication of data and conference attendance is encouraged and supported. Applicants should be eligible to work within the European Union.
